iDJ isn't too cluttered, yet it isn't simplistic. Unlike DJ, iDJ does not focus on famous artists, and instead makes the cover DJ look subtle and average - everything overlaps him to show his lack of importance and the dominance of the content.
The font reflects the style of music, as it looks digital and electronic. The font also changes depending on how obvious it wants to be; sometimes its sans, sometimes sans-serif, but the sans font manages to stay informal.
